"One Day at a Time, 2015" .....The rest of December .....

December was full of surprises ... good and bad.

As I mentioned back in that last post (December 15), our RV suffered a boo-boo (hopefully its last) when Bruce (in his own words) said, “I had my stupid hat on” and scraped the passenger bedroom slide out as he was exiting the gated area where our RV was stored.  He was sick about it but hopefully it’s the first and LAST and now that it’s been initiated, it won’t happen again!  Since the RV is still under warranty and we have an insurance policy for just that sort of thing, it spent most of December and January up at Camping World in Albuquerque waiting for permission to be fixed from Thor and then waiting for the holiday shutdown to be completed and then waiting for the parts to be shipped and then waiting for the paint job.

Here is a picture of the RV after its accident.  You really can’t see the amount of damage but it was pretty expensive ….. probably about $$$$$$$$$$$$ (10- 12 dollar signs if you were reading a menu where they don’t tell you the price of the entrée but it’s signified by the $!!!)
