Lazy Days RV Resort Tampa, Florida (
Our main purpose in coming to this resort was to take the Driver Confidence class - yes, both of us!! It was a little more per night, but we definitely wantd to take the course and also attend some of their seminars during the week. The park does have lots of perks - complimentary coffee and soda, complimentary newspaper delivered to your door, complimentary breakfast and lunch, a beautiful indoor heated pool and spa, plus the ability to walk their massive lots full of new and used Motor Homes/Fifth Wheelers/Trailers - and they hope you will be inclined to want to trade yours in for a new one!!
The breakfast, lunches and seminars were held buildings quite a distance away from the resort. Bruce started riding his bike back and forth. I had planned on doing the same thing but I fell off of it the first time I tried, hurt myself, and then got scared about riding it. I cannot, do not want to fall and break anything. I know I sound like a very old lady now, but that's the way it is.
Here is a picture of my thumb after the fall. I also banged up both knees. The worse part was that I fell after I had successfully ridden all around the park, arrived back at our RV and was trying to get off the bike to park it!

| Joe saw me walking back to our RV on Sunday the 24th and gave me a ride. I had told him I was hurrying back to catch the football game! You can rent these by the day or even rent bicycles. |

The following pictures show the area where people who have traded in an RV or 5er are allowed to set up for one night to transfer their stuff from their old vehicle to their new one. I think there were 4 rows of these.
The Crown Club area contained the more expensive coaches, a separate club house, pool, etc. That's what you get for spending the big bucks!!

The following pictures don't really do justice to the inventory that they have in stock there. Row upon row of brand new RV's.

Here are pictures of the 5 bays that handled service, repairs, painting, remodeling, etc.
And this planter near the Sales office caught my eye - cute - isn't it?
Here is a picture of where we loaded up on our free eats! The choices for the "free" breakfast and lunches were limited (scrambled eggs/bacon or sausage/toast or egg sandwich - like a McMuffin; soup and a 1/2 sandwich; chicken sandwich with chips. But when it's free, you eat it. And then walk it off by going walking back and forth to the campground. They had a coffee machine which gave you the choice of a whipped coffee - I liked that one!!
And I went into a fifth wheel that I have seen and was curious about - the Redwood. It has a bedroom slide out where the master bedroom slides out of the slide. It was very nice. I also liked the cedar closet in it. (around $140,000)

We had to leave our spot on Monday morning by 11 but couldn't get into our next reservation until 1 p.m. We pulled forward out of the way, and watched the parade of RV's leaving the resort - all different makes, models, years; towing different vehicles. As Bruce says, there was hundreds of thousands of dollars in front of us! Amazing!!
