"One Day at a Time, 2015" ..... Class Reunion .....

How lucky for us that our 50-year class reunion was held on June 5 and 6 in the Rochester area.  We were able to attend all the events, from the Meet and Greet on Friday afternoon, to the Reception and dinner on Friday evening and the Picnic and Reminisce on Saturday afternoon.  This reunion was not quite as well attended as our 40-year event, but it was still great to reconnect with old friends.

June 5 & 6

50^th SHS Class ‘65 Reunion

Friday June 5

2-4 p.m.  “Meet & Greet” at Towpath Shelter Greece Canal Park on

               Elmgrove Road

6:00 p.m. “Reception” at Lodge on the Green 2888 Ridgeway Ave.

7:00 p.m. “Alumni Dinner” at Lodge on the Green on Ridgeway Ave.

Saturday June 6

Morning and early afternoon time for classmates to plan individual/small group activities i.e. golf outings, a walk around the village, breakfast/lunch with friends etc.

4:00-9:00 p.m. Picnic Dinner at the Chili American Legion Post at 450 Chili-Scottsville Road. This facility has both outdoor and indoor meeting and eating spaces. The focus will be on conversation and visiting. There will be a short program (7:00) after dinner.

The event was coordinated to coincide with the Alumni Association banquet.  It saved the committee a lot of detailed meeting planning.  Here is a picture of the cake they presented to our class.
