"One Day at a Time, 2015" ..... Sorry, ran out of time! .....

I tried to get caught up on the blog before today, July 15, but just couldn't do it. 

I have spent the last three days planning our trip to Canada -- reading, mapping, googling, making phone calls, etc.  I guess I procrastinated too long!!

I didn't realize that I was going to be losing the use of our Wi-Fi over there (our Verizon Jet Pack) because Canada won't allow us to use it; the cost would be prohibitive.  We have to suspend it (go down from 30 Gigs of data to 1) until we get back here in the states.  

We will have a limited use of both phone calling and texting however, but that won't help me research where to go.  So, I've been busy!

Our plan is to cross the border tomorrow (**)and travel to Sainte-Madeline, QC for one night.  Then we go to Levis, QC where we will stay for 4 nights; this will give us the opportunity to see Quebec City and the surrounding area.

After that, we will go to Nova Scotia then Prince Edward Island - by ferry.  We will spend a week on the island and return via the bridge to New Brunswick.  We'll spend about 4-5 days there, maybe longer, and be back in the US around the last week in August.  Then the plan is to see Acadia National Park in Maine and after that ... well, I have to do more planning!!  In order to take advantage of the membership we bought back in March, you have to plan.  And when we can stay a week at a campground for $0.00, it's worth the planning!!

So, I'm afraid I will be out of touch until August.  I will have much to catch up on .......  Fourth of July in Southwoods RV Resort, Byron; lovely dinner with friends; a leak (yes, that's what I said!); driver's license woes; Bass Lake in Parish, NY; a fun drive around Oneida Lake; and a trip to Oswego.  

** and we're hoping that our mail delivery reaches us here at the 1000 Islands tomorrow or everything might get pushed back one day!!!
