Last week we saw a big change come over the campground. It crept up on us and bingo! fall was here. We had a big wind blow through one day along with the makings of a thunderstorm.
Bruce and I are not fans of Halloween and were looking forward to not having to answer a doorbell to "Trick or Treat." However, the park we are at really celebrates! The campers have been pulling in and setting up in the field in front of us all day; the whole campground is decorated with orange lights, scary witches, and big pumpkins. And today (the 18th) there will be festivities all day long ... from coffee, cider and donuts in the morning, pumpkin painting, a site judging for best decorations, Trick or Treating - if the site has a balloon on it - and at night a scary ride through the "haunted" woods.
We are going away.
Here are pictures from just one nearby farmyard ...
