Well, it's hard to believe that today is our last full day here in Byron, NY. Tomorrow morning we will be headed to Pennsylvania. Bruce is definitely in charge of the route - since our horrendous wrong turn months ago - and I have found us our next site ... RV Camping Resort in Mercer, PA. We will stay there for two days and see both the "lay of the land" and if I can convince the grumpy man I live with, several places that I discovered in that great website I found http://www.roadsideamerica.com/
Unfortunately the weather for today is rain ... all day ... stopping around 3 a.m. So my fire from yesterday, pictured here, may be the last one. And grumpy man won't let me bring any of the good wood that I have left that Dan gave me.

Today will be spent readying the RV ... putting away items securely, wrapping breakables in bubble wrap, taking the recycleable bottles and cans to get our 5 cents per item back, bringing in outside furniture, etc. It makes me a little sad since we've been here so long. Bruce worked his last day with Neal on Wednesday; I went and said goodbye to Aunt Dottie and Nancy the other day. We had dinner at Carol and Dan's (delicious as usual) and today we hope to stop and say goodbye to Dave and Pat.
