"One Day at a Time, 2015” ….. South Carolina (again) ….. (December 14 - 21) ….. Yemassee, SC
December 14, 2015 - Travel Day, 249 Google Miles, 3 hours, 57 Google minutes
December 14 - 21 - Yemassee is about 1/2 way between Charleston, South Carolina and Savannah, Georgia. Our plan is to visit both cities a couple of days and also take some drives around the area (Beaufort and Port Royal) and also RELAX.
It's so nice to be able to type -- On our way and no problems! It was drizzling and rainy, and it made us remember that we need to get some new wipers for the RV. We didn't have any problems getting diesel, and we arrived in good time. Got driven to our site by a Workamper, hooked up, slides out, and ahhhh, relax!
We had debated about buying a KOA membership as we had found most of their parks to be more expensive than some of those featured through Good Sam or Passport America, two of the other memberships we also own. However, while we were staying at the KOA in Cornwall, Charlottetown, PEI, and our fur baby was ill and in the hospital, we took advantage of the 30% difference in our dollars and were able to purchase our membership for a penny.
KOA also awards you points and gives you 10% off your visit. We have also found that most KOA's are very nice parks - as you can see below.
You can stay in a railroad car ....
