"One
Day at a Time, 2015” ..... Canada ..... (July 16th - August 19th)
….. August 10
August 10– Day 26 - Our adventures begin in PEI
We took route 19 from our CG to the Fort Amherst NationalHistoric Site. We experienced it all –
beautiful views, soothing waves hitting the beach, hunt for beach glass, walk to a lighthouse,

Continuing on route 19 - interspersed with occasional meetings with Trans Canadian Highway 1 - we sought new adventures in the town of Victoria. We usually don't splurge on eating out, but we were hungry, it was lunchtime, and it smelled good!! There were two restaurants right next to each other and we decided to try the Beachcomber. Yummy! We both had a lobster roll and I had mine with soup - chowder.

We got to watch them load lobster traps onto a boat.
Took a walk around the quaint little town ....

Everywhere we have gone so far in Canada, we have noticed these massive piles of firewood. Now what do you think that means?!

It looked similar to dill.
I took this picture of a gallon (well, whatever the Canadian gallon is) and a container of cottage cheese because these two items together came to about $10.00 in the store. It's expensive on this island!!
