"One Day at a Time, 2015” ….. Clarksburg, West Virginia …..(November 5) ..... Travel Day
November 5 - 226 Google Miles - Travel Day - WalMart
Packed up and ready to go and as we turned left out of the CG, we realized that we should have turned right! When we got to the West Virginia Travel Center, we took a break, stopped, and I stocked up on material to read. We aren't going to stay here, though. We are spending the night at a WalMart, and we are eventually going to end up in Virginia.
It was a beautiful, sunny, puffy-cloud day, and all I could think of was,
"Take Me Home, Country Roads"
We are grateful for the "free" parking that WalMart allows RV'ers. Most of us just use it as a one-night passing through stop, but we have seen people abusing the privilege by opening their slides, taking out their lawn chairs and barbecue grills and having a good 'ole time. This is frowned upon by folks who RV full time.
We were parked right near the Burger King and the smell was driving not only us but Zoey nuts! Those Whoppers sure did smell good! I resisted and had salad but Bruce gave in to temptation and enjoyed a burger!

All my memories gather round her, miner's lady, stranger to blue water.
Dark and dusty, painted on the sky, misty taste of moonshine, teardrop in my eye.

I hear her voice in the morning hour, she calls me, the radio reminds me of my home far away.
And driving down the road I get a feeling that I should have been home yesterday, yesterday.
