November 1 - 4 - Costco Food Run and Football!! Laundry, Picking up and Putting Away
We had just about depleted our stock of Costco foods that we love and were thrilled to find that there was one right down the street. We left Miss Zoey behind and set out to spend big bucks .... and we did, of course! I think the bill was over $300.00 and that's no extras, just food!
I should have taken a picture of the RV when we returned. By the time we brought everything in, it was time to watch football. So the refrigerator stuff got shoved in there and the boxes of cereal, soup, vegetables, etc. just sat on the floor so we could watch a couple of games.
I enjoy watching Russell Wilson, the quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks (in case you don't follow football) because instead of just being the quarterback, he oftentimes runs with the ball, but my favorite team right now is the Broncos, and they were on at night. But the World Series was on, too, so we kept flipping back and forth. It was late by the time we went to bed.
I think everyone knows how much I like to organize stuff ... and organize .... and organize. Because one of the objects when traveling is not to have your items in your cupboards shifting around continually, you either pack them full (say with food, for example) or use several roles of paper towels (if you have started to deplete your food). I purchased a huge package of paper towels from Costco before we left and have used them for stuffing.
However, when we do a Costco run, it often prompts me to re-organize space to have everything fit where I want it. As the months have gone by, there are items that I have not touched, some I've only used a couple of times, and those items I use almost daily. So I'm shifting here and there all the time. Yes, it drives Bruce nuts. I try to keep the things that he might use in one place. For example, my toaster oven has been on the counter, up in a cupboard, in the dishwasher, and now fits in the drawer where your printer goes! Funny, huh!! (No, I don't use my dishwasher! It's much easier to just do up the few that we use per meal.) Living in an RV makes you take out, use, and always, always, pick up after yourself and put away!
I'm pretty proud of the fact that I still have cupboard space to spare in our coach, and both Bruce and I agree that we have not lacked for one thing since we set out in May. Well, we did have to buy Rubbing Alcohol, but everything else we have had with us.

There didn't seem to be much to "sight-see" around here so these days spent at this park were mostly catching up on laundry and other "chores." Bruce did some checking up on the RV and we also cleaned up a bit more since it had been in the shop for almost a week.
We did have beautiful, beautiful fall weather, though.
