We had a lovely drive from Indiana to Ohio. We did not take the Ohio Turnpike; instead took some secondary roads. Enough to make me happy and not too many for Bruce since he prefers to go faster on the straightaways. We ended up on Route 30 East and then 23 East and both of these were like an expressway.
Our new location is the Cross Creek Resort and Campground in Delaware, Ohio. Since we hadn't done any sight-seeing in Indiana, I had thought we would stay a couple of days so we could go to the RV Motor Home Hall of Fame in Elkhart, take the tour of the Newmar factory, go to the Wakarusa Dime Store for candy and then the Yoder Hardware store and Popcorn store in Shipshewana. But all the campgrounds were closing Saturday night so we couldn't stay. Thor was kind enough to let us stay over Friday night even though we were finished on Thursday, but since they had a new group coming in on Monday (arriving as early as Saturday), we couldn't stay there.
So, we left Indiana with the thought that we will return and see the sights either when we do up Wisconsin and Michigan or if we ever come back here to one of the big rallies.
