"One Day at a Time, 2015” ….. South Carolina …..(November 18 - 23 ) ..... Rainy Day (19th) and Barefoot Landing (20th)
Rainy Day (19th)
Not much to say. Drove a few miles to the nearest Costco to stock up on the good things in life. It rained BUCKETS!! We were glad to get back home and settle in. Did some laundry, reading and TV watching.
Barefoot Landing (20th)
Woke up to sunshine!! Not too chilly out; even I can walk outdoors without a jacket on! We walked around the park, saw the miniature golf course, beautiful outdoor pool (not open) and Rec Room where tomorrow night there will be an auction to raise funds for the North Myrtle Beach Rescue Squad. I peeked in the room where they were setting it up. Oh boy .... all kinds of "stuff!" Saw quite a few baskets that were made up with goodies in them encased in plastic. Now those might be something I could use. If nothing else comes up on Saturday night, I think I'll check it out.
Then we walked over to Barefoot Landing. We saw a bunch of stores and restaurants, pretty pots of flowers, majestic yachts and boats, Sweets galore (candy, fudge, ice cream), 50% off sales, decorations going up for the holidays and, always, people. It was interesting and didn't cost a thing. Although .... we may go back and take in some music at the House of Blues. I've got to research that more. And I'm thinking about taking in the lighting of the Christmas Tree tomorrow night. Oh - wait - I was going to the auction. Hmmmm .....stay tuned.

| Our RV park is to the left and there is a walkway (locked) that we were able to take to walk over. |
| T-Bonz - I just read the ad; gosh, $7.00 lunches. Maybe we should look into! |
After the sweet shoppe, I went into a gift shoppe. I decided that from now on I'll take pictures of some of the things that catch my eye. No money exchanging hands, no worry where to put, and I won't have to dust. But when I read my blog, I can still remember the day and the moment!!

| Clocks |
| More clocks |
| If I had a tree, I'd put one on it. But no tree, no fuss, no muss! |
| I would have liked this sign to hang last week at Camp Hatteras! |
| I've seen this advertised on television!! I should have waited until the video started up again in the little pad. It's a spritz bottle - different smells - that one can spray into the toilet bowl!! |
| Interesting fellow! |
| Hard to see the lady greeting you at the door. |
| A blurry rooster |
| I've got to teach my husband how to take a picture!! It says, "Horsing Around" |
| This one is better and if you look into the man's head, you can see Bruce's reflection taking the picture ... so he got in it anyway!! |
| Colorful. I'd like this outside my RV! |
| You can see the 4th one coming - to the right |
| Hey, make room for me! |
| Hey Mike, look! |
| For all my purple lovers out there ... I wanted to go into the store but I was on a quest to find the restroom! |
| I took this through the window! |
I don't think this was meant to be a rest stop for Bruce and I. I imagine Santa will be sitting here soon.
The picture below I snapped yesterday on the rainy day drive to Costco. It was the only picture that came out; we have to go that way later today so I intend to try and get a picture of the big Crab and the other miniature golf places.
Small world again! Jim and Kim, two of the "Tuscany Breakdown Gang" from Indiana are staying right down the road from us. We met over dinner and talked about our RV's, where we had been since we each saw the other, where we were headed and what we've been doing. It was GREAT to see them again!
I have a feeling that our paths might cross again!
