October 7, 2015 –  New Paltz & Poughkeepsie

We drove to Poughkeepsie today via New Paltz.

First store I really wanted to buy something in - beautiful flowing tops - 

Mary Ann told us about Historic Huguenot Street so we decided to walk to it as we weren't too far away.  Glad we did.  Enjoyed the old homes and barns.

I have the sign but not a picture of the church!

Always interested in chocolate but I don't go in!  Too tempting!!

The Purple House.  It was really pretty.

And then we did the "Walk Across the Hudson."

We took a wrong turn but it ended up with a good picture.

I had to take a picture of the east side so you could see that I really walked all the way.  It was one mile over and one mile back.
