September 13 – Planning
the next leg of the trip
It was a rainy day and our last day here. We worked on planning the next leg of our trip.
I am trying to avoid going anywhere near New York City as we head west to Thor Headquarters in Elkhart, Indiana. We made an appointment to have the RV checked over for a list of issues and our appointment isn't until October 26. We decided we would visit our friends in Virginia and then head up to Indiana. Of course we are always trying to use our camping membership and get free or reduced rates wherever we are.
One of the Facebook sites I am a member of (Full-Time RVers) had some good tips about the highways to use to avoid the city, and another lady had just posted that they spent the night at the Cabella's in Hamburg, Pennsylvania.
That's where we are headed tomorrow.
