August 14– Day 30 - Continuing our PEI adventure
Today was a busy and sad day; we had to move our RV first
thing in the morning from site 525 to
site 501 and once that was done, immediately take Zoey to the Atlantic Veterinary College in
Charlottetown. It is an accredited
and globally recognized college, and we were very impressed by their
staff and the care that they gave Miss Zoey.
We spent quite a bit of the day there and hated to leave
her, but our French doctor assured us that she would be well taken care
of. We knew she was better off with them
than us but it sure puts a damper on your day.
We returned to our “premium” site right on the beach of the
West River. It was mesmerizing and
calming to just sit and watch the people clamming, walking the beach and their
dogs, and hearing the sounds of the waves hitting the shoreline.
