September 9 – 103 Google Miles – Short Travel Day

We were both ready to move on.  I have been reading a lot of blogs by full-time RV’ers and noticed that many say the same thing – after about a week in one place, we get “hitch itch” and need to move the rig! 

We didn’t have too far to go, and it was a nice day to travel.  We left Massachusetts, zipped through a tiny section of Rhode Island, and arrive at Old Mystic Connecticut in due fashion.

We settled in and after our dinner, decided to see the “downtown” area because we reasoned that it might not be quite as busy at nighttime.  We were right!

Then we walked across the bridge, down past the shoppes on the main street (saw Mystic Pizza - the pizza shop made famous in the movie of the same name with Julia Roberts), walked down the other side of the sidewalk and took pictures all the way.

This might be the best ice cream but at $4.00 for one scoop, I had to pass!
