"One Day at a Time, 2015” ….. Plymouth, Massachusetts
….. (August 28 – September 8) …..September 2
September 2 – Visit to
Bruce’s cousin
Note: I think I have
my days mixed up but I guess it doesn’t matter since it’s already October 24th when I’m posting this.
Bruce’s cousin lives in Sciatuate, MA. “One of the most scenic harbors in
Massachusetts is where the 1811 Scituate Light and Lightkeepers House is
located.” And I think Donna and Al took
us by that and so many, many other beautiful sites that my head swims. It is a beautiful little town and the house
that they live in (that I didn’t get a picture of) was built in the 1800s. They also have a barn where Al does his hobby
– woodworking. Not just any woodworking
– he makes dining room sets, and dressers, and miniature jewelry boxes – that
are so detailed, I’ve determined he must have great amounts of patience!
After chatting we took a drive and then enjoyed lunch out
near the harbor. We drove some more and
they both are a wealth of information regarding the town. We stayed for a delicious dinner and talked
some more. Bruce hasn’t seen Donna for
over 30+ years so it was really special to have this time together.
I don't know if I changed a setting on my camera or what, but the pictures of the homes are rather dark, darn it.
